طبیعت زیبای اطراف روستای بزنگان
این روستا از توابع شهرستان سرخس است و در ۱۲۸ کیلومتری شرق مشهد در یک منطقه دشتی واقع شده است کوه بزنگان در ۴ کیلومتری جنوب کوه قره داغ و در ۶ کیلومتری غرب و جنوب غربی روستا قرار گرفته است آب و هوای آن معتدل خشک است در این روستا قلعه تاریخی بزنگان واقع شده است که نشان از قدمت دیرینه روستا دارد.

طبیعت دریاچه بزنگان
منابع آبی هر منطقه ای از بهترین تفریح گاه های طبیعی برای اهالی بومی و گردشگرن داخلی و خارجی محسوب می شوند. به سبب شرایط جوی و جغرافیایی، استان خراسان رضوی از دریاچه های مشهور و قابل توجهی برخوردار نیست ولی دریاچه بزنگان مهم ترین دریاچه استان خراسان رضوی به شمار می آید که آب آن از بارندگی های سالانه و چشمه های کوچک تامین می شود. دریاچه بزنگان که در مسیر جاده مشهد – سرخس قرار گرفته، مرکز پرورش ماهی قزل آلا بوده و در صورت برنامه ریزی صحیح از ویژگی های لازم برای جلب گردشگران برخوردار است.
دریاچه بزنگان تنها ابگیر طبیعی می باشد که در استان خراسان وجود دارد . این دریاچه حدود هشتاد هکتار وسعت وعمق ان حد اکثر دوازده مترو حد اقل نه متر می باشد و در جنوب رشته کوههای هزار مسجد در فاصلة حدود یکصدوسی کیلومتری جاده مشهد به سمت سرخس قرار دارد.آب این دریاچه از بارندگی های سالانه و چشمه های کوچک حاشیه و کف دریاچه تامین می شود و تاکنون ۳۳ گونه فیتو پلانکتون جلبکی در دریاچه بزنگان شناسایی شده است
